Happy Friday! Just wanted to share this beautiful sunny photo from Manhattan Beach. I love LA! Cheers to a great weekend everyone!
Hello! I can’t believe it’s almost the end of August! Summer is flying by so quickly. Since I took a little break from coordinating events, I wanted to write a post about my niece’s (Taylor’s) 1st birthday I coordinated this past April.
The 1st birthday is a pretty big deal for Korean’s and is called Dol or Doljanchi. It’s a Korean tradition that celebrates the child’s 1st year of life with a special ceremony that blesses the child with a prosperous life and fortune. It’s such a big deal celebration because in the past many passed away before their first birthday’s in Korea.
I just got back from a college friend’s funeral + felt the need to write something about it. She was so young to have passed from such a horrible disease in a short period of time. Cancer sucks. Sadly, I’ve been hearing about so many people diagnosed with cancer. All of this reminds me that life really is so precious.
I’m so glad the “June gloom” in July is gone! I totally missed the happy warm sun this past weekend. Now we can all take full advantage of all the summer events in LA! Here are a few of my favorite places. You’ll definitely notice a theme of why I love these outdoor events (I love picnics)! Also, be sure to assign a DD or cab it…
Happy summer! It’s summer time + my redesign is complete! Hooray! Why not celebrate by frolicking in the sun + listening to some fun songs?! If you know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE summers in LA + my range of music is pretty eclectic. Ranging from old school, to slow jams, to R+B, to folky, to super cheesy (love Stevie B.) songs.
My redesign is finally live + ready! I couldn’t be happier about the new look + feel. I’m still working on special event coordination + management, but wanted my blog to be a reflection of me as well. So, I added categories of things I love: Cheers, Music, California Love + Inspiration. I promise to have better photos on my posts in due time!
Hello readers! I’m finally in the process of my redesign + I’m so excited about it! I’ll still be posting about real events I coordinate + am inspired by. But, I’m expanding the blog out to topics + things I love: Cheers, Music, CA Love, Inspiration.
Please stay tuned for the unveiling! Thanks!
Here comes the bride all dressed in white, To have and to hold, I do, I now pronounce you man + wife…
There are so many popular wedding quotes, poems, and phrases. How do you incorporate them into your wedding day to make it special and unique? ”Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe” is my favorite wedding poems/sayings because each line is supposed to represent something sentimental things that the bride has carefully chosen.
